The Journal of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence (JMAI) invites submissions for its inaugural special issue on the Mathematics of Artificial Intelligence.
This special issue aims to highlight recent advances in the mathematical foundations of artificial intelligence and to promote research that combines mathematical depth with modern computational and data-driven methods. Submissions are expected to present rigorous theoretical contributions or to develop new mathematical frameworks motivated by problems in artificial intelligence.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Machine learning theory and generalization
Optimization methods in learning
Probabilistic and statistical foundations of AI
Geometric and topological methods in data analysis and learning
Symbolic and algebraic approaches to artificial intelligence
Computational complexity of learning algorithms
Mathematical aspects of neural networks and deep learning
AI methods for mathematical discovery
Submissions in core areas of mathematics that have clear relevance to artificial intelligence are also encouraged.
All papers will be subject to a rigorous peer-review process in accordance with the standards of the journal. The special issue will consist of a limited number of carefully selected articles.
Submission Guidelines:
Authors should submit their manuscripts through the journal’s submission process and indicate that the paper is intended for the Inaugural Special Issue on the Mathematics of Artificial Intelligence.
Important Dates:
